School campuses are a hive of activity well after the dismissal bell rings. A lot of planning and training goes into keeping our students and staff safe during the school day, but are those same protocols and procedures in place after hours? How can schools make sure that 5:00 p.m. is just as safe as 10:00 a.m.? How are after-school staff trained on school safety? How do schools welcome community members while still keeping the building secure? We will work together through scenarios to answer these questions and more!
