Administrators' Days

Everyone knows that schools encounter challenges on a daily basis, but in the midst of running from fire to fire to put them out, some leaders unintentionally approach all of those challenges in the same way instead of varying their leadership approach. This can result in leading from a place of management rather than leading your district through meaningful change. In this session, we will distinguish between technical and adaptive challenges while identifying leadership and facilitation strategies that can be used to shift school culture and positively promote change through shared leadership and collective ownership.
