Welcome to Administrators’ Days 2024!!
Thursday July 25, 2024 1:15pm - 2:15pm CDT
In this session, we will explore the importance of consistent, systematic, and explicit instructional routines in literacy that align with Nebraska State Standards, the High-Quality Instructional Materials Initiative, elements of NeMTSS Tier 1 Instruction, and the Science of Reading teaching practices through theoretical models as part of your Super System for Foundational Literacy. Participants will utilize the NDE/NeMTSS Foundational Literacy Instructional Routines Document provided through a collaborative effort between NeMTSS, the Nebraska Department of Education, and ESU 10. Leadership from Arnold Public Schools will share how they have used the Foundational Literacy Instructional Routines alongside their instructional materials to improve Tier 1 Literacy instruction. This guide provides multiple ways to support Tier 1 Core instruction as well as supporting intensification in foundational skills and comprehension components to ultimately enhance student learning in literacy.
