Local Food for Schools

The Local Food for Schools (LFS) grant provides funding for eligible School Food Authorities (SFAs) to purchase locally unprocessed or minimally processed foods for their National School Lunch Program. If your school opted in to receive LFS funds for the round two allocation (July 2024 - June 2025) then you won't want to miss this session. Learn about local procurement options, commonly purchased items and their uses in the cafeteria from round one, and more.
