Tiered Approaches to Addressing Chronic Absenteeism

In this session, participants will review the state of chronic absenteeism and identify potential root causes. Participants will also deepen their understanding in prevention, identification, and intervention of chronic absences by analyzing data, drawing connections between chronic absence and Tier 1 Core instruction, leveraging Tier 2 resources such as the Excessive Absenteeism Conferencing, and uplifting family and community engagement strategies.
